Member of Parliament (MP) for Akatsi North and the Minority Spokesperson on Education, Peter Nortsu-Kotoe, has supported Artisans and Branch Executives in his Constituency with tools and materials worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
The Member of Parliament also reached out to 15 artisans (Welders) in the District with working tools with the “hope that the tools received would boost and expand their operations and services across the District”.
He urged them to make good use of the machines and also ensure that they use it to train their apprentices in the larger interest of the District.
The Communities and the institutions that benefited from the items are: Yorkuvi, Kamiakope, Dzayime, Lome-Ghana, Kpedome, Church of Christ, Ave-Afiadenyigba, House of Power Ministry, GES Office, Akatsi North, Gborglakope, Agormor, Avevi, Adzigo/Zomayi, Gborglakope E.P. Church and Sanyi.
The rest are: Sodokpokope, Kudzeagbakope, Ave-Dakpa and Ave-Afiadenigba Market Women Associations.
Whilst wishing his Constituents well, Mr. Nortsu-Kotoe promised to do more on the floor of Parliament and at the Committee level as his primary duty to hold the Executive accountable in the area of Education among other issues.
