Akua Donkor, Janet Nabila & Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah file Presidential nominations

It was an all-women’s day affair at the EC headquarters on Thursday as leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, flagbearer of the People’s National Party (PNP), Janet Nabla, and presidential candidate of the CPP, Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah, all successfully submitted their nomination forms for the December 7 elections. The three women, known for their bold and outspoken political stance, arrived at the Electoral Commission to complete the necessary formalities.

During her submission, Madam Akua Donkor of the GFP reiterated her dedication to championing the concerns of ordinary Ghanaians and driving meaningful change.

Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Party, Janet Nabla, commended the EC for cutting down the cost of filing for women but urged it to digitalise the filing process to eradicate the stress candidates go through.

The CPP presidential candidate Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa Sarpong Kumankumah said the party is back with policies to eradicate poverty and give Ghanaians hope.

The submission of their nomination files signifies their readiness to compete in the elections and their determination to offer an alternative to the major political parties.
