Former Trades and Industry Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and Flagbearer Hopeful has made it to the next phase of the New Patriotic Party’s Flagbearer contest.
According to provisional numbers trickling in from the Electoral Commission’s Office, the man tagged to be the next in line for the candidature has made it to the third position with 95 votes representing 10.29% of the overall votes cast across the country so far.
The Super Delegates conference is poised to reduce the number of candidates from ten to five. The elections which is only open to National Executives, Members of Parliament and some dignified members of the New Patriotic Party.
The provisional results show that Alan is ahead of the likes of Former Agriculture Minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Former Energy Minister, Boakye Kyerematen Agyarko.
