The Ghana Blind Union and a group calling itself ”the Ghana stammering Association” have rejected the apology rendered by the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and NDC Flagbearer Aspirant, Alban Bagbin.
Speaking on Behind the News the Executive Director of the Ghana Blind Union, Dr. Peter Obeng-Asamoah said the union expected Mr. Bagbin to have rendered an unqualified apology, instead he chose to justify his unfortunate utterances against persons with disability.
President of the group calling itself, the ”Ghana Stammering Association, Elias Nyamekye Apreko said an apology and a retraction would have saved the situation for Mr. Bagbin as a leader and a Presidential Hopeful.
