The Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has appointed the immediate past Oti Regional Minister, Honourable Joshua Makubu, as his campaign Coordinator for Persons with Disabilities and Special needs.
Joshua Makubu, who served as the first Minister of the Oti Region since its creation, was a victim of the reshuffle made by the President on February 14, 2023.
He was replaced by the former Head of Public Relations at the University of Media, Arts, and Communication, Daniel Machator.
The appointment of Mr. Makubu comes on the back of Dr. Bawumia’s strong advocacy for the involvement of persons with disabilities and special needs.
His involvement in the campaign team is to help come up with policies which will build an all-inclusive Ghana and government where the energies and talents of all citizens are harnessed towards the development of the country.
Mr. Joshua Makubu joins a tall list of both present and past government officials on board the campaign team of the NPP, which is led by the member of parliament for Okere Constituency, Dan Botwe.
