The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has revealed that Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the NPP, is a standout candidate in the upcoming 2024 general election.
“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been an exceptional Vice President for our country, and his track record speaks for itself since 1992,” he highlighted.
He emphasised that Dr. Bawumia has implemented numerous initiatives and policies that have contributed to the country’s development, asserting that his performance surpasses that of any other Vice President.
Encouraging Ghanaians to vote for a President who prioritises accountability, he stated, “If Dr. Bawumia becomes President, he will have the opportunity for re-election, unlike Mr. Mahama, who is only seeking a 4-year term. We must entrust our future to capable hands.”
Speaking to party supporters at the 30th Anniversary of NPP-USA in Alexandria, Mr. Kodua urged them to approach the 2024 elections with dedication to secure victory and break the cycle of two-term presidencies.
“We can achieve success in the upcoming elections through our commitment. The party looks to our diaspora branches, especially in the United States, to ensure Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is elected President to drive the country’s progress,” he emphasised.
He underscored that, for the betterment of Ghana, the NPP must retain power. “Winning this election is crucial for our beloved Ghana, as the people’s only choice is the NPP,” he emphasised.
