The Metropolitan Catholic Archbishop of Tamale, Rev. Philip Naameh has called on politicians to conduct positive campaigns devoid of insult, ethnocentrism and mudslinging.
He expressed worry over the pockets of violence recorded during the voter registration recently, saying it does not augur well for the upcoming elections.
Reverend Philip Naameh, who is also the Northern Regional Chairman of the National Peace Council, made the remarks in an interview with GBC in Tamale.
He reminded politicians of their responsibility to keep the nation united, saying, how to change the socio-economic fortunes of Ghanaians should be the focus of political campaigns.
