The Colleges of Education Teachers Association Ghana (CETAG), is in dilemma whether or not to call off its strike which has been ongoing for the past six weeks.

The President of CETAG, Prince Obeng Hema, on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, ‘Behind The News’, said the outcome of a meeting which is scheduled in Kumasi Wednesday will determine whether the strike will be called off or not.

The meeting by CETAG comes after the National Labour Commission directed them to call off their strike and restore full service.

A Labour Consultant, Austin Gamey described the strike by CETAG as unfortunate.

He however expressed the hope that the intervention by the Labour Commission will bring an end to the matter.
