The Colleges of Education Teachers Association Ghana (CETAG), has been asked to call off its strike immediately and restore full services after the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) lodged a complaint against them with the National Labour Commission.
The Commission after hearing the complaint Monday directed the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission and CETAG to return to the negotiating table by Monday December 10 to continue with the negotiation on the Interim Market Premium and Book and Research allowance and must conclude them within 14 working days.
They must however reach an agreement and report the outcome of the negotiation to the Commission not later than January 4, 2019.
