Civil Society Group — Citizen Ghana, has described as worrying, daily reports of alleged corruption and financial mismanagement.
According to the group, the non-enforcement of existing laws is what has emboldened some public officers to engage in such acts.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Executive Secretary of Citizen Ghana, George Kojo Anti said Parliament must pass the Public Officers Bill, expected to consolidate all existing laws, meant to regulate persons entrusted with leadership positions.
Mr. Anti said there should be more coordination among all the investigating bodies to avoid duplication.
