The Member of Parliament for Wa East, Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw, says that the development of Wa East is his priority as he called on citizens to embrace peace in development.
The MP, who believes in “development in peace”, emphasised the need for peace and unity calling on all to promote tolerance towards each other irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, or clan affiliations.
Dr. Jasaw made this known on April 9, 2023, when he joined the good people of Buffiama, Sawuobe, and Duu communities, all in Wa East to commemorate the Easter Day celebration.
As part of the celebration, he commissioned and handed over three (3) new boreholes he funded through the MP’s share of the DACF to the said communities.
According to him, “This forms part of my broader development plan to ensure equitable distribution and access to potable water across my beloved constituency.”
In a short ceremony at each community, he thanked the people for their immense support and reassured them of his commitment to bringing development to the people of Wa East.
