Dr. Bawumia endorses Dodzie Numekevor

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia took to the streets of Sege, the capital of the Ada West District in the Greater Accra Region, on Wednesday to personally meet, greet, and solicit for votes during his regional campaign tour as flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Displaying his youthful exuberance and athleticism, Dr. Bawumia was led by the NPP’s parliamentary ticket for Sege, Dodzie Numekevor, through the market square and lorry station, even into people’s homes, in a very practical exhibition of taking the campaign to the doorsteps of voters.

The Vice-President freely shook hands, smiled, and exchanged friendly pleasantries with market women, commercial drivers, artisans, and even students across town before moving to address a rally inside the Ebenezer Presby Church at Sege on his vision and plans for the constituency when voted president of Ghana.

Key among the many promises he made was to construct a landing beach and sea defence, build an automated premix fuel station for fisher folks, construct roads, train the youth in IT and include Ada Divisional Chiefs in the Traditional Leaders Allowance structure.

Dr. Bawumia also took the opportunity to appeal to the constituents to vote for Dodzie Numekevor as the next Member of Parliament for Sege, so that they can work together to bring progress and development to the area from January 2025.

“Considering the numerous requests made by our chiefs, opinion leaders and the various youth groups and the assurance he gave us, it is prudent to give Dr. Bawumia the mandate because he would have the opportunity to come back to Sege to account to us and seek renewal of his mandate,” Mr. Numekevor further appealed in a social media post.
