IPAC meetings have been described as the biggest platform to address thorny issues affecting political parties and electoral-related matters.

Speaking to the issue of the NDC boycotting the IPAC meeting and calling for electoral reforms following happenings in the 2020 elections petition thereof, a Senior Lecturer at the Political Science Department, University of Ghana, Dr. Alidu Seidu said he agrees with the NDC calling for electoral reforms, but was quick to add that the party still needs IPAC to project concerns of the party for redress.

On whether the NDC can boycott the 2024 elections if their concerns are not considered, Dr Seidu was emphatic that such a move will not be possible and healthy.
