A Former Western Regional Minister and MP for Sefwi Wiawso, Paul Evans Aidoo, has commended the public as well as the Electoral Commission for helping to conduct a successful District Assembly and Unit Committee election.
He is therefore hoping for a similar thing in next year’s general election.
Mr Aidoo who was giving his impression on the just ended District Level election, pointed out that there was inadequate publicity which made it uneasy for some voters to differentiate between the Unit Committees and Assembly candidates.
He suggested that the number of polling stations be increased to avoid long queues during next year’s elections.
