The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced the procedure for independent presidential aspirants to obtain passwords for accessing nomination forms to contest in the December 2024 polls.
This password will allow candidates to download the necessary forms from the EC’s website.
In a Friday, August 2, 2024, statement signed by the EC’s Deputy Chair of Operations, Samuel Tettey, the EC urged prospective candidates to visit the EC’s head office with a letter of introduction addressed to the EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa, to receive their passwords.
Starting Friday, August 2, 2024, interested candidates can download nomination forms from the Electoral Commission’s website and begin completing them for submission.
The EC will begin receiving these nominations from Monday, September 9, to Friday, September 13, 2024.
