Dr. Ekow Kwainoe: MP-elect outlines vision for Ekumfi constituency

Member of Parliament Elect for Ekumfi, Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe, has shared his vision for the constituency.

Speaking on the AM Show on Joy News on December 30, 2024, he highlighted key challenges facing Ekumfi and outlined his plans to address them.

One of the major issues raised by Dr. Kwainoe is the deplorable state of roads in the constituency. He also pointed out the lack of technical and vocational institutions, emphasising the need to provide education and training opportunities for the youth.

He also highlighted the absence of boarding facilities at Atta Mills Secondary School and the insufficient job prospects for young people in Ekumfi.

To tackle these challenges, Dr. Kwainoe disclosed his intentions to establish poultry farms and gari processing plants in Ekumfi, aimed at creating employment opportunities for the local community. He encouraged the residents of Ekumfi to organise annual festivals as a means of fostering unity and communal spirit.

On economic growth, Dr. Kwainoe expressed his determination to leverage his position to attract investments that would support his initiatives. He hinted at planning to utilise his expertise to pitch for funding and intends to establish businesses in Ekumfi to drive growth and development in the region.
