Some Ghanaians have criticised the Minister of Food and Agriculture and Abetifi Member of Parliament, Bryan Acheampong, for his strong statement regarding the NPP‘s determination to secure victory in the forthcoming general elections.

Earlier on Sunday, Bryan Acheampong confidently asserted that the NPP would maintain power using any means necessary. He stressed that the opposition NDC would not prevail in the upcoming polls. This declaration was made during a campaign rally in Nsawam.

Furthermore, Bryan highlighted the NPP’s readiness and capable team, poised to employ all essential strategies to secure success on December 7, 2024.

In his words, “If you don’t understand, go and burn the sea. We will win the elections and continue the good works of the NPP.”

This is not the first instance where Mr. Acheampong has conveyed such sentiments. Earlier this year, in a speech in Mpraeso, he exhibited the same level of confidence in the NPP’s ability to emerge victorious in the 2024 elections.

In response to his remarks, Ghanaians and some NPP supporters have accused him of intentionally undermining the NPP’s chances of winning the upcoming December elections.
