Third witness of the petitioner, Rojo Mettle-Nunoo in the election petition hearing today testified he was sacked from the National Collation Centre of the Electoral Commission which is unprecedented in the Commission’s history.
He said the EC which should have acted as an independent referee did so in bad faith as it announced the result at a time NDC representatives had left the centre.
Counsel for the second respondent, Justice Amenuvor said NDC representatives at the National Collation Centre failed the petitioner in the election process.
He said they signed forms when they were not supposed to and did not assign reasons where necessary which was a failure on their part.
He also queried why witness left the National Collation Centre to deliver the said message to the petitioner without any back plans.
