The First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, is urging Ghanaians to consider the developmental projects and policies of the NPP administration and vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the party’s parliamentary candidates in next month’s election.
According to Mrs Akufo Addo, the first term of this administration saw massive development; however, this was slowed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia Ukraine war.
‘The NPP administration was set to rapidly develop the country, but for COVID and the Russia Ukraine war,’ she noted.
The first lady was speaking when she joined the party’s parliamentary candidate in Ablekuma Central, Jefferson Sackey, at a meeting with women groups in the constituency. With a little over 30 days until the general elections, campaigns have heated up, with candidates crisscrossing the country to get their messages to the electorate.
The situation is no different at Ablekuma Central and Klottey Korley, as the First Lady joined NPP parliamentary candidates in a bid to convince voters.
The parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma Central Jefferson Sackey promised to work on projects in the constituency which have stalled.
At Klottey Korley, the parliamentary candidate, Valentino Nii Noi Nortey, said he is committed to providing business support for small businesses to improve their living conditions. The First Lady is expected to join other NPP parliamentary candidates as they campaign.
