“I was not alerted to this Heritage Month Celebration”, he said. The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, a man who is known for wearing smock and Ghanaian wear came wearing a Suit to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, GBCs GTV Breakfast, March 16, 2022.
The month of March has been designated Ghana Month, and GBC is also marking the Heritage Month through clothing among other outlets.
Panellists who appear on the show this month (March) wear African clothing to sync with the Ghana Month. Mr. Asiedu Nketiah also known as General Mosquito came wearing a suit saying he was not aware of the protocol, and therefore would pretend to be a Colonial Master, while on the GTV Breakfast Show.
“I was not alerted to this Heritage Month Celebration”, he said.
”Maybe that is why I am in a suit. But it’s not out of place so I will pretend to be a Colonial Governor”, he said amidst laughter.
Ghana Month or Heritage Month is a campaign which takes place in March to coincide with the country’s Independence celebrations. The campaign is to primarily project the country’s indigenous products and services as well as celebrate its rich cultural heritage.
