Ghana’s Former President Jerry John Rawlings has passed on.
This was confirmed to GBC’s Radio Ghana by sources close to the family of the former President.
He is said to have died this morning (Thursday, November 12, 2020) at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
The Former President had been on admission at Korle Bu for about a week for an undisclosed ailment.
The Former President Flt. Lt. J.J. Rawlings was an iconic figure and founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He was 73.
