Governance Expert, Fred Agyarko Oduro, has congratulated the leadership of the NDC for organising the election peacefully.
He said the party has learnt its lessons from the previous election.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Oduro said the atmosphere in which the election is being conducted is the best so far.
He was hopeful that there would be no cause for fear and panic as the election progresses.
Mr. Oduro also indicated that it is high time, people were prosecuted for influencing election results with bribes.
He said it is a major problem in the country which needs to be dealt with.
