The Chairman of Global Group International Holdings Limited, Dr. Johnny Hon, has reaffirmed his organisation’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s development agenda through strategic investments across various sectors. Dr. Hon made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on April 8, 2025, at the Ministry’s premises.
He highlighted the pivotal role of technology in boosting productivity and efficiency in economic growth, stressing that Ghana presents an ideal environment for international partnerships and innovation-driven investments.
In his response, Mr Ablakwa emphasized government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen economic diplomacy by fostering a secure and investor-friendly climate for both local and foreign businesses. The Foreign Affairs Minister also pointed to Ghana’s peaceful disposition and dependable judicial system as key enablers for sustainable business operations.
The meeting also explored avenues for deepening cooperation between Ghana and international partners, particularly in areas such as mining, security, agriculture, labour exports, and the integration of advanced technologies to drive national development.
Both parties expressed optimism about future engagements, reaffirming their commitment to collaborative efforts that will promote mutual growth and sustainable development.
