Christian Kwabena Andrews, the flagbearer of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), has indeed laid out some impactful plans, taking his turn on the GBC’s Presidential Encounter.

His focus on supporting people with disabilities, market women, and the youth shows a commitment to addressing key social issues.

His proposal to revamp rehabilitation centres for persons with disabilities aims to enhance their independence through skills training and better market access. For market women, reducing the tax rate could significantly ease their financial burdens, helping them generate more consistent daily incomes.

Additionally, his plan to provide 10,000 cedis to empower the youth by leveraging Ghana’s natural resources reflects a strategic approach to internal revenue generation.

The emphasis on road maintenance through pre-financing projects and community involvement also highlights a practical solution to infrastructure challenges.
