The Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU) has called for calm in the attempt to address post-election disagreements that are currently raging in the country.
Speaking to Journalists in Accra, General Secretary of the ICU, Solomon Kotei said there are bound to be disputes and petty squabbles after every contest but the ability to settle these disagreements in a peaceful manner to ensure the unity of the country, should be the utmost concern of all.
Mr. Kotei urged aggrieved parties in this year’s election to resort to the rule of law and the court to settle their reservation.
Mr. Kotei said Ghana’s interest must always be paramount in any dispute settlement.
