In a recent interview with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV, Professor Joshua Alabi, the campaign manager for the president-elect, characterized this year’s election as the “People’s Democratic Revolution.” He explained this concept as a peaceful revolution orchestrated by the people through the democratic process of voting.
During the interview, Professor Alabi emphasized the unstoppable power of the people’s will, stating, “When the people decide to remove you, nothing can stop it.” He attributed the election outcome to a widespread sentiment he observed while travelling across the country, leading him to coin the term “the people’s democratic revolution”.
Moreover, Professor Alabi expressed his confidence in President-elect John Mahama’s candidacy, citing his experience working closely with him during the 2020 election campaign. He dismissed the idea of a new candidate for the NDC, firmly believing in President Mahama’s capabilities and vision for the country.
The campaign manager’s unwavering support for President-elect John Mahama underscored his conviction that the election would result in victory for their party.
