Kennedy Agyepong, Adwoa Safo, Henry Quartey to face Privileges Committee for absenteeism

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has referred three New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament to the Privileges Committee of Parliament for breaching the 15-day rule in the Chamber.

The three are MP for Dome-Kwabenya, Madam Sarah Adwoa Safo; Ayawaso Central MP, Mr. Henry Quartey; and MP for Assin Central, Mr. Ken Ohene Agyapong, according to the Votes and Proceedings have absented themselves from the House for more than the mandatory sitting.

The Speaker on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, referred the three NPP MPs to the Privileges Committee for the necessary action.
