The Presidential Candidate for the Liberal Party of Ghana, Kofi Akpaloo, has vowed to transform Ghana into a global healthcare hub by constructing 10 state-of-the-art hospitals.
Speaking during GBC’s Presidential Encounter on November 21, 2024, he emphasised that these facilities will significantly improve healthcare delivery if he is elected in the December polls.
Mr. Akpaloo assured Ghanaians that his government will prioritise local healthcare services, ensuring that leaders and citizens alike receive world-class treatment within the country. He stressed that the hospitals would be equipped with advanced tools and technology, eliminating the need for political leaders to seek medical care abroad.
The Liberal Party’s flagbearer also revealed that the hospitals would cater not only to Ghanaians but also to patients from across the globe. This move, he believes, will position Ghana as a leading destination for medical tourism, boost foreign revenue, and elevate the nation’s healthcare standards.
Mr. Akpaloo stated that his vision for healthcare goes beyond treatment, aiming to establish a system that guarantees access to quality medical care for all Ghanaians. He urged voters to support his agenda to build a healthier and more prosperous nation.
