La Dadekotopon: NDC PC predicts victory for herself

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for La Dadekotopon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has predicted victory for herself in the upcoming general election.

The PC and the former Municipal Chief Executive Officer for the Area, Rita Odoley Sowah, is optimistic of winning the seat for her party as she addressed a huge crowd, made up of NDC supporters on the street of La, Accra.

The supporters who are eager for change chanted war songs to assure the NDC for victory come December 7 polls as they matched through the La Township on Saturday, 31st October, 2020 dubbed: Walk for victory.

Hundreds of them were holding placards with inscriptions: Vote for jobs and prosperity; two sure two direct; we shall legalize okada; John and Jean etc amidst dancing on notable NDC songs.

Among the crowd were the current PC, the former MP, Nii Amasah Namoale, the Constituency and the Regional Executives dressed in party paraphernalia.

In her address, Madam Rita mentioned the constructions and rehabilitation of roads in the municipality among other projects undertaken by the NDC government.

She used the opportunity to reiterate the party’s manifesto promise of investing $10 billion under the Big Push Initiative over 5 years to accelerate infrastructure and create jobs.

The PC again reminded the crowd about the following captured in their manifesto:

i.  Build a sustainable society with opportunity for all.

ii. Promote Human Development.

iii. Prioritize Health, Quality Education and Skills Training as the cornerstone for progress and prosperity.

iv  Fix the Economy as we Unite Against Poverty.

v. Create One Million Sustainable Jobs.

vi. Promote Good Governance: Integrity, Anti-Corruption, Transparency and Accountability and

vii. Deepen International Relations
