Rashid Pelpuo, the Member of Parliament for Wa Central, has reaffirmed John Dramani Mahama’s dedication to solving the water problems facing the people of Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana.
Speaking at the launch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 Political Campaign, Mr Pelpuo emphasized Mr. Mahama’s commitment to improving essential infrastructure in the Northern Region.
Addressing a massive crowd at the Tamale Jubilee Park, Mr. Pelpuo highlighted the NDC flag bearer’s promise to build a new abattoir for the residents of Tamale if elected as President on December 7, 2024. The construction of a modern abattoir aims to enhance the meat processing industry and improve sanitation standards in the city.
“John Mahama is deeply committed to addressing the pressing water issues that have plagued Tamale for years,” Pelpuo stated. “His vision includes ensuring that every household has access to clean and reliable water. Additionally, the new abattoir will not only create jobs but also ensure that we have a hygienic facility for meat processing, benefitting the health and economy of our people.”
The event, which marked the official launch of the NDC’s campaign for the upcoming general election, drew a significant turnout from party supporters and residents eager to hear the party’s plans for the future.
