Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has reiterated that elections have consequences; therefore, the electorate must reject the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and vote for the NDC to reset the country.

He said the government has subjected the people to excruciating hardship through obnoxious policies and mismanagement of the economy.

Addressing NDC supporters at Gushegu in the Northern region, Mr. Mahama said the NDC, whenever in power, spread development to every part of the country.

Former President Mahama was rounding off his ‘Mahama4Change2024’ campaign tour of the Northern region with engagements and mini rallies at Gushegu, Mion and Karaga.

He began the day with the inauguration of a mechanised borehole in Bonbon Naa Yeli in the Yendi constituency.

At Gushegu, Mr. Mahama accused the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government of doing very little to improve the living conditions of the people.

Mr. Mahama spoke about some of his flagship programmes.

Addressing a mini rally in the Mion constituency, Mr. Mahama reminded the people that every development project in the constituency was done by the NDC and the next NDC government will do more for them.

MP for Tamale South and former Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, said the next NDC government will complete all on-going and abandoned projects.

Eastern region is next for the Mahama4Change2024 campaign.
