The Appointments Committee of Parliament will hold public hearing to vet Ministerial nominees on October 26 and 29, 2018 respectively at the Parliament House, Accra.
The Committee will on Friday, October 26, 2018 consider the Member of Parliament, (MP) for Ofoase-Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Minister designate for Information, Cynthia Morrison, MP and Minister designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection and Ms. Paulina Tangaba Abayage Minister designate for Upper East Region.
On Monday, October 29, 2018 the committee will consider Evans Opoku Bobie, MP and Minister designate for Bono-Ahafo Region, Martin Oti Gyarko, MP, Deputy Minister designate for Bono-Ahafo and Samuel Nuertey Ayertey- Deputy Minister designate for Eastern Region.
A statement signed by Acting Director of Public Affairs Department of Parliament, Kate Addo said: “Pursuant to Order 172 (3) of the Standing Orders of Parliament, following the President’s nominations, the Parliament of Ghana announces that the Appointments Committee will hold public hearings to consider the six Ministerial and Deputy Ministerial appointments on 26th October, 2018 and 29th October, 2018 respectively”
