After six years of service to the New Patriotic Party, the vibrant Greater Accra Youth Commander, Moses Abor, has vacated the post to pursue the Ayawaso Central Constituency seat.
In a formal letter addressed to the leadership of the party, Moses Abor tendered his resignation from the position of Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser with effect from Monday, September 18, 2023. He touted his working experience as one that has been remarkable, with a great milestone achieved significantly to the growth of the party.
He further used the same medium to announce his intention to contest the Ayawaso Central Seat, which is currently being occupied by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey.
According to him, his quest to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries is borne out of a personal commitment to serve the party and contribute to the legislative process in the name of the constituency and the people.
“This decision has not been made lightly, and I believe that this step aligns with my personal commitment to serve our party and contribute more directly to the legislative process,” he said.
He stated that guidelines set by the leadership of the party for party officers who have intentions to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries advised his decision to take up the opportunity to represent the party in the Ayawaso Central Constituency.
