The National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE), says it will soon commence research into the rising number of rejected ballots in the 2020 general election.
Chairperson of the Commission, Josephine Nkrumah, who announced this further indicated that the Commission would investigate the cause of such occurrences in future elections.
According to figures from the 2020 polls, 313,397 ballots were rejected by the Electoral Commission (EC).
That represented 2.333 percent of the ballots cast.
Ghana’s highest percentage of rejected ballots was in 1992.
