NDC 'accuses' government of accumulating public debt

Communication Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has accused government of accumulating public debt of GH¢50 billion in two years.
At the first in a series of news conference in Accra dubbed, ”Moment of Truth”, Mr. Gyamfi said President Akufo-Addo and his Vice Dr. Bawumia have lost touch with the reality of the economic hardship their maladministration has brought to Ghanaians.
He noted that the government for the past two years has failed to implement the one million dollars per constituency and rather taking the financial sector from positive growth of 22 point three percent to a negative growth of 13 point one percent.
Mr. Gyamfi also accused President Akufo-Addo of spending GH¢3.4 billion at the Presidency in two years when they promised to protect the public purse.
