The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has urged party members to ignore a letter calling for the submission of nominees for appointments from constituencies.
In a statement dated December 25, 2024, Mr. Ashie Moore stated that he was not aware of any such directive from the party’s top leadership.
He clarified that neither the regional executive committee was consulted nor approved any such decision.
“This is solely the action of the Regional Secretary without following the proper party structures. Please disregard the letter entirely,” Mr. Moore said.
He assured party members that the President-Elect’s transition team is working hard to ensure a smooth handover and remains focused on implementing the top 10 priority policies within the first 120 days in office.
