The NDC has called for the immediate dismissal of Minister of Special Development Initiatives, Hawa Koomson. The party said it is disgusted by the act perpetrated by the Minister at a registration centre at Kasoa and outrightly condemns it.
The Party catalogued a series of attacks on its members in the Awutu Senya East Constituency by the same Minister, accusing the Police of refusing to act on all these.
Speaking to alleged widespread attacks on the party in the registration process, Director of Elections of the NDC, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah singled out the act by Madam Hawa as gangsterism, saying it will not be tolerated henceforth.
The Party served notice that should the Minister be left off the hook, the next NDC administration will bring her and the cohorts to justice.
Mr. Afriyie Ankrah urged members of the Party not to despair no matter the acts of violence against them.
