NDC names 2020 Campaign team

The NDC has appointed members of its National Campaign team to facilitate its electioneering for the December 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

A statement signed by the Party’s Director of Communications, Kakra Essamuah named Prof Joshua Alabi as the National Campaign Manager, with Alex Segbefia as his deputy.

The Director of Operations for the campaign is Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, with James Agyenim Boateng as the Campaign Spokesperson, Mawuena Trebarh and former DCE for Suhum Margaret Ansei are the Deputy Campaign Spokespersons, while Gen. R.S. Blay is the Strategic Advisor to the Campaign Team.

Other members of the team include National Communications Officer; Sammy Gyamfi, Former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Kofi Totobi Quakyi, Minority Leader; Haruna Iddrisu, Hudu Yahaya; the National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo, Sam Pee Yalley; Dr. Valerie Sawyer; Director of Elections, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and Victor Smith.

The rest are National Organizer Joshua Akamba, National Women’s. Organiser, Dr. Hannah Louisa Bissiw, National Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Mamah, Samuel Sarpong; and Dr. Nana Ama Brown Klutse. The statement said all campaign activities will be under the policy direction of the National Steering Committee to be chaired by the National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.

The coordination of all aspects of the campaign will be presided over by the General Secretary, Joseph Asiedu Nketia, as stipulated in the party’s constitution.
