The National Democratic Congress‘ parliamentary candidate for Assin Central, Nurein Shiabu Migyimah has snatched the seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
That seat had been held by the NPP for a long time.
The vociferous Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is the incumbent MP on the ticket of the NPP but he decided to not to seek re-election this year.
