The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Sammy Gyamfi has been picked up by Bureau of National Investigations (BNI)
Information reaching GBCGHANAONLINE indicates that Sammy Gyamfi was picked up by officers of the BNI at the premises of UTV.
It is unclear the reason for the arrest.
GBCGHANAONLINE correspondents report that the NDC member was whisked away to the Police headquarters in Accra.
“We were denied access to enter the premises,” our correspondents report when they went to the Police headquarters, adding that, “According to security, they are not supposed to allow the media onto the premises.”
