Former President John Dramani Mahama, says the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) government will ease the burden on the public purse by stopping the payment of ex-gratia to Article 71 Office Holders.
The NDC flagbearer was hopeful that when given the nod, he would implement the most extensive constitutional, political, and governance reforms under the Fourth Republic with the aim of restoring confidence in Ghana’s systems, while improving lives of Ghanaians.
Mr. Mahama gave the assurance today March 2, 2023 in Sokode, during the launch of his campaign to lead the NDC in the 2024 election.
