The Chief Executive Officer of Vision Lob and an activist of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Alfred Kumi, has declared his intention to contest the party’s 2020 parliamentary primaries at the Adenta Constituency in Accra.

He said, Adenta, being one of the biggest constituencies in the country had developed at a fast pace, yet there were some issues begging to be fixed and that having spent most of his life in the constituency, he thinks it was time for him to lead the NPP party to help found solutions to them.

He said for decades, the Adenta perennial water problem has still not be addressed, and that would be priority on his development agenda when given the nod.

Mr Kumi who disclosed this in an interview said, “as a result of my inherent qualities, I believe strongly that I would make a complete and perfect legislator.”

“While I was in TESCON, I was also a member of the NPP at the Adenta Constituency and have been paying my dues to the party. I was always connected to the party’s grass roots because of my political ambition to serve my party better.”

The CEO said at the right time he would outline his strategies and interventions to address the challenges in the constituency.

Speaking on his chances and resources for the task ahead, Mr Kumi who is also the Managing Director of the Internship Hub said: “Being a member of the NPP for years, and a mentor of many young people he had no doubt that he will carry the day when the time comes.”

Mr Kumi urged Ghanaians to be patient with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration, “Since he is still within the cleaning process following the huge mess left behind by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.”

He charged the youth and his constituents to believe in themselves and work hard to build a prosperous nation.
