New Patriotic Party members in the Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region are accusing some executives of breaching the party’s Constitution in conducting elections at the polling station level.

The aggrieved party members say they will resist attempts by the Constituency executives to conduct the polling station elections without following laid down procedures spelled out by the party. Our Correspondent Georgina Ama Ankumah reports that there is growing agitation among NPP members in the Bantama and other Constituencies in the Ashanti Region in the ongoing process to elect polling station Executives.

The members are calling on the leadership of the NPP at both the regional and national levels to declare recently conducted elections at two of the polling stations null and void and conduct fresh polls at all the ten polling stations.
