955 super delegates of the New Patriotic Party , NPP, are voting to trim 10 presidential aspirants of the party to the best five, for another major polls in November, that will eventually elect the party’s flagbearer for the 2024 General election.
The super delegates are to vote at 17 voting centers across the country. The Electoral Commission, EC, will be in charge of the process.
The 10 aspirants vying for the final five are MP for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong, former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, MP for Essikado Ketan Joe Ghartey, Energy policy analyst Kwadwo Poku, former Agric. Minister Dr Afriyie Akoto, former NPP General secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Former MP Addai Nimo, Former Minister of State, Kofi Konadu Apraku, Former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
