Parliament of Ghana.

Parliament has approved $200 million as additional financing for the Ghana Covid-19 Emergency Preparedness and Response project.

The financial agreement between the government of Ghana and the International Development Association is expected to be used to purchase additional Covid-19 vaccines for the country and provide resources to manage the pandemic.

While both sides endorsed the loan, the minority called for greater transparency and increased accountability in managing all Covid resources, while ensuring that the interventions benefit all Ghanaians.
