The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, says the growing trend of monetization of the country’s electoral processes has reached a level of national crisis.
This he said does not augur well for the country’s democratic governance.
Speaking at the ‘Meet The Press’ series in Accra, Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, said the only way to curb the trend is to control unrealistic demands made by the electorate.
He said Ghana cannot deal with corruption if the trend is allowed to fester.
