Technical Advisor at the Office of Vice President, Dr. Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, says Government is taking measures to position Research Institutions like Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, through the National Vaccine Bill, to manufacture vaccines in the country.

Dr. Mahama made the comment on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme “Talking Point”, which discussed President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address.

He said the country is focusing on developing vaccines locally and not leaving them in the lands of foreigners.

MP for Tamale Central, Murtala Mohammed, said government should practice what it preaches by adopting austerity measures at the Presidency to generate more revenue.
