With just three days to Ghana’s general elections, Bernard Mornah, the Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has officially endorsed John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking at Esaase Bontefufuo during a campaign rally led by John Mahama, Mornah urged Ghanaians to reflect on the economic and social hardships under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and vote for change.
Mr. Bernard Mornah criticized the NPP government for what he described as mismanagement and broken promises.
“Ghanaians have suffered greatly under the leadership of the NPP. The past eight years have been marked by economic hardship and a lack of accountability,” Mornah said to an energized crowd. “It is time for change, and the right man to lead that change is John Dramani Mahama.”
Mr. Mornah, who could not contest in the elections due to issues with his party and the Electoral Commission, said his decision to support the NDC Presidential Candidate, Mr. John Mahama stems from his belief in Mahama’s vision and experience.
“John Mahama has demonstrated the leadership, compassion, and competence needed to steer this nation towards progress. He understands the struggles of Ghanaians and has what it takes to restore hope,” Mornah affirmed.
In his appeal, Mornah called on voters to consider their struggles over the past eight years and decisively vote for the NDC.
“Think about the rising cost of living, the broken promises, and the daily hardships. This election is our chance to choose a better future. Vote massively for John Mahama and the NDC,” he urged passionately.
Mornah’s endorsement is seen as a boost for the NDC, reflecting a unified opposition front determined to unseat the ruling government. The crowd responded with cheers and chants, expressing readiness for change.
As election day approaches, Bernard Mornah’s support adds momentum to John Mahama’s campaign, reinforcing the NDC’s position as a viable choice for Ghanaians seeking relief from their struggles.
