The Ghana Police Service says it has arrested two people in connection with an alleged disturbance at the Ofaakor Electoral Commission Office near Kasoa in the Central Region.
The arrest was made on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at about 0500 hours.
A police brief copied the GNA said the disturbance happened at dawn over queuing before the commencement of the day’s activities at the EC office.
This, the brief said, led to the injury of one person.
“Calm has since been restored at the registration centre,” it added.
The suspects were in custody assisting Police investigation, it said.
