The Electoral Commission of Ghana kick-started the Limited Registration nationwide on September 12, 2023, for Ghanaians who attain 18 years of age and those who were unable to register during the previous exercise.

Applicants are expected to have their names registered in the District Offices of the Electoral Commission across the country.

In the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region, the materials were all available for the exercise to kick start.

A slow network and unstable power supply were some of the challenges Krachi West Municipality faced on day one of Voter Registration.

At the end of the day, 23 successful applicants were registered, with seven (7) females and sixteen (16) males.
